Since 1981 the Tejano Conjunto Festival has been featuring three to five nights of live performances by the best musical groups in the traditional Conjunto and the progressive Tejano. The festival features over 20 hours of live performances by the best musical groups, from the traditional Conjunto to the progressive Tejano.
Other noteworthy festival activities include a recital by the students of the Guadalupe’s accordion classes; accordion and bajo sexto workshops at Rosedale Park and other special educational programs on conjunto music; food and beverage booths, games for the children, and plenty of dancing.
