The Cactus Festival has been serving up eclectic and exciting outdoor world music concerts for over 20 years in Bruges’ Minnewaterpark, also known as the Lake of Love Park. The festival programme consistently offers up unusual and interesting bands—opting for just one stage to keep the affair intimate, inviting just a limited number of groups and ensuring each one gets a chance to play their best and are not harried by hectic fly-in, fly-out festival timetables.
The festival organisers also like to alternate big-name musicians with up-and-coming innovators to ensure a good mix, and the event embraces the multiplicity of musical styles found on world stages today. Expect rock, reggae, rap, roots, rai, R&B, all rolled together in three days of festival mayhem.
