| Festival Description | The Southwest Pickers have proudly provided Bluegrass and Traditional Music for the fans of New Mexico. Starting in the late 70's and early 80's with bands like Hot Rize, Country Gazette, Norman and Nancy Blake Bryan Bowers, The Mc Clain Family, Mike Seeger, Tony Trishka and Bill Grant & Delia Bell, mostly at the Mercantile Building or the Ballpark in Madrid, NM. The Festival is held in August every year, at the Santa Fe, New Mexico rodeo grounds. This is a Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday function. |
