| Festival Description | The University of Nevada, Reno presents the annual Reno Jazz Festival. The event is one of the most popular of its kind in the nation, bringing together some of the best and brightest young talent in the country and some of the finest guest clinicians in the world. Since its founding in 1963, the Reno Jazz Festival and the University of Nevada, Reno have grown up hand-in-hand. Both have increased in size and stature, providing access to a wide variety of excellent educational opportunities. |
