| Festival Description | Since 1987 Jubilee Jam's mission is to celebrate music, arts, crafts and food in downtown Jackson. Jubilee Jam is an annual two-day event that energizes downtown Jackson every June. Jubilee Jam has a reputation for providing the best entertainment around, presenting performers such as Bob Dylan, James Brown, Johnny Lang, Little Richard, Aaron Neville and the Neville Brothers, Gregg Allman, Little Feat, The Spinners, Wilson Pickett, Dr. John, Dorothy Moore, Marty Stuart, War, The Temptations, Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Los Lobos just to name a few. Included each year with headline acts are dozens of local and regional performers with diverse musical offerings. |
