| Festival Description | The Winter Bluegrass Weekend - A Festival of Bluegrass and Old-Time Music and Dance is packed with three days of indoor stage shows, old-time dances, workshops, instrument exhibitors, good food, and of course plenty of around the clock informal jam sessions. The core event of the Winter Bluegrass Weekend is the Showcase of Bands. More than 40 groups are expected to be scheduled on three stages. Other highlights of the Winter Bluegrass Weekend include the Saturday Night Headline Concert (featuring The Grascals from Nashville in 2011), the Old-Time Dance Hall (featuring Bigfoor from West Virginia in 2011), and the Grass Seeds Music Academy. |
