| Festival Description | In summer 2005 Tallinn Chamber Music Festival had its opening concert with a great amount of publicity. The Festival takes place in the historic concert halls and churches in one of the most beautiful cities of the Baltic States. The audience from Tallinn and all over Estonia together with tourists will enjoy numerous classical music concerts. Tallinn Chamber Music Festival is created to enrich and add some classical spice to the busy cultural life in Tallinn. It is the only major music event in Estonia that presents the talent of Estonian musicians alone. The Pille Lill Music Fund (PLMF) organizes the Festival in cooperation with Tallinn City Government, the Ministery of Culture and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia. The Festival’s artistic director is the outstanding Estonian opera singer Pille Lill. With the help of esteemed private persons PLMF presents the Marje ja Kuldar Sink’s (mother and son, composers who had strong ties with Tallinn’s music life for many years) award “Young Musician 2012. |
