| Festival Description | The Essence Music Festival celebrates black music and culture with a stellar line-up of artists and empowerment seminars. In 2006 festival temporarily moved to Houston’s Reliant Stadium, due to the damage caused by hurricane Katrina. In 2007 the festival returned to its home of New Orleans, Louisiana at the Louisiana Superdome. |
