| Festival Description | Since 1989 the Hot August Blues Festival has produced the annual three day festival with a stellar music program, great food, and comradery at Hardin, Kentucky’s scenic Lake. The festival was initiated by Bill Hainsworth and Gloria Peck-Hargrove and inaugurated in 1990. The line-up includes international performers as well as regional acts. Three times the Kentucky Tourism Council selected the festival as one of the state’s Top Ten summer events. Friday evening kicks off the weekend with evening concert performances at Kenlake’s Amphitheater. The Hot August Blues Festival is held rain or shine, so grab a poncho and sunscreen, don’t forget your cooler and we’ll see you there! |
