| Festival Description | The Noise Pop Festival is a week-long celebration of indie music that takes place in multiple venues throughout the city of San Francisco. Each year the festival organizers gather performers from across the country who comprise a line-up of cutting edge artists, indie, electronic, punk, including the best local bands. The inaugural event took place in 1993 as a one-night event featuring underground rock bands from the Bay Area. Now after 16 years the program has grown to include independent music, art, film and culture—with art exhibitions, a film festival, panel discussions facilitated by musicians and music industry professionals. |
