| Festival Description | The Fort Kaskaskia State Historic Site hosts the annual music festival each September drawing thousands of music lovers. The program includes Bluegrass, Cajun, Irish, and Country musicians from around the nation as well as locally grown music, entertainment and dancing. In addition to the entertainment the organizers round out the festival experience with a craft market that is held on both days and includes items for sale, food and refreshments. The scenic setting of the park venue overlooks the Mississippi River. |
