| Festival Description | Samba in Coburg is an enormous pageant with everything with a hot rhythm, driving drum percussions and exotic dances that transform Coburg into cocktail of color, movement, and music. The festival takes place throughout the city—in historical places, twisting lanes, in taverns, trendy cafes and bars. Over 100,000 Samba fans from near and far return each year! There are 9 stages featuring performers in the city center, percussion and dance workshops, and over 2,000 Sambistas from eight nations who dance, drum, and participate in the beauty competition. In addition there is a children’s program on Saturday and Sunday. |
