| Festival Description | The Florida Dance Festival is Florida's leading summer dance training program and is one of the major annual dance events in the southeastern US. This distinguished two-week program, held in Miami and Miami Beach, offers workshops, master classes, intensive courses and an outstanding performance series featuring Florida, national and international guest artists. The Festival unites a diverse, global community of choreographers, performers, teachers and students for two weeks of study, exploration and exchange. Participants experience a broad range of dance styles and movement expression in a supportive and nurturing environment with some of the field's outstanding contemporary master choreographers and teachers. The non-competitive atmosphere encourages the exchange of views and ideas and provides fertile ground for personal and artistic experimentation and growth. |
