| Festival Description | Litchfield Jazz Festival (est. 1996) and Litchfield Jazz Camp (est. 1997) includes 3-days of extraordinary jazz, an Opening Night Gala, unique and beautiful crafts, delicious cuisine, performances by Litchfield Jazz Camp students and an After Party & Jam. The Litchfield Jazz Fest artist line-up has included Ray Charles, Diana Krall, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Rollins and many more. For schedules, ticket and more, visit http://www.litchfieldjazzfest.com. Litchfield Jazz Camp invites students ages 13 through adult to study for one to five weeks in July and August with the best jazz artists working today. Led by Music Director, Don Braden, instrumentalists and vocalists learn and play in a non-competitive environment. Classes include combo, theory, master classes, electives, faculty concerts, performance opportunities and more. All students perform at the Litchfield Jazz Festival on a second stage. Litchfield Jazz Camp has been featured in The New York Times, TIME Magazine, Jazz Times, DownBeat, and on CNN and CPTV.
