Festival Description

The Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival (formerly known as The North Fork Bluegrass & Roots Festival) is a family oriented, ‘pickin’ festival held in Palisade, Colorado and features bluegrass, folk, acoustic blues, and old-time music, with instrument and vocal workshops, campground jams, vendors and luthiers from the region. Wine Country Inn has jumped on board as a Presenting Sponsor, offering a spectacular gathering place for indoor jam sessions, restful nights and a touch of pampering. The Grand Junction Airport (GJT) is only fifteen minutes away, and we plan to have shuttle service available that will take guests to the hotel, downtown Palisade and the concert venue.

The festival takes place at Riverbend Park on the banks of the Colorado River. The easy-going, garden party atmosphere provides a relaxing and mellow music festival enjoyed by families and musicians alike. The Festival features a shady park with lots of grass and includes Barn Dances and jam sessions. There are Saturday & Sunday morning workshops for guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, vocals, songwriting & children. Concert park vendors feature wine, micro-brew, food, and more.
