| Festival Description | Alaska Folk Festival, Inc. organizes and manages the annual event entirely free of charge for performers and audience alike. The Festival has become the largest cultural event annually held in Juneau, with participants and attendees numbering over 10,000 and thousands more in the radio audience—and even the internet. (The 2002 Festival was available as live streaming audio at http://www.ktoo.org) KTOO-FM, Juneau's Public radio station, broadcasts all of the performances live. |
