| Festival Description | The New Drama is an annual festival of contemporary play and a creative laboratory for Russian playwrights, directors and actors working with new writing. The idea of the festival belongs to Eduard Boyakov, Elena Gremina and Mikhail Ugarov. The Festival takes place in Moscow in the last part of September and in spring tours into the Russian regions to present tailor-made programmes. Over the years the New Drama Festival has taken place in St. Petersburg, Toliatti, Samara, Nizhniy Novgorod, etc. |

- The Perm programme of the New Drama Festival will be supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and by the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of the Perm Region. The organizers of the Festival are Praktika Theatre (Moscow) and Theatre.doc (Moscow). The main venue for the festival is the Perm Academic “Theatre Theatre”.
