| Festival Description | The festival began in 2003 with the vision to gather artists from a range of genres to Asheville for a fringe festival. The festival encourages collaboration among artists in planned and unplanned performances. Artists must submit an application to take part — applicants are reviewed and selected by the Fringe Advisory Board — who seek artist that exemplify high standards of artistry. The idea is to stimulate the audiences of Ashewille as well as the performers in a wide-ranging showcase of works — where actors, dancers, singers, videographers, painters and musicians take part…. |
