| Festival Description | Member of the EFA since 1971.The Bregenz Festival has won fame above all through the performances on the lake stage. Each year, the festival offers viewers the opportunity to experience the rediscovery of a rare opera. The concerts of the Vienna Symphonic Orchestra, the traditional festivalorchestra, are also held in the Festival Opera House. To round off the orchestra concerts, chamber music concerts take place in Hohenems Palace, featuring both renowned ensembles and promising young musicians. Dramatic theatre also has a long tradition at the Bregenz Festival. Finally, there is a series of events for the youngest culture fans and an Opera Video Workshop. |
