| Festival Description | The All England Theatre Festival organises the only country-wide eliminating competition for one-act plays in performance. It exists to provide an opportunity for Amateurs to compete throughout England. Each First Round competition is open only to bona-fide amateurs of that particular locale. Following the One Act Drama Festival at QEH in February, the winner from the area competes to go forward to the next round. Three plays in the afternoon and two in the evening culminate in a professional adjudication and the prizegiving. |
