Festival Events:

Highlighted programming 2014:
  • La Serenissima will be opening the Festival with some Venetian festivities on 24th October. The second weekend opens with a very welcome return visit from The Sixteen with a Polish programme on 31st October, and also features our friends at L’Avventura and Little Baroque Company on 1st and 2nd November. As you might have gathered from some of the press coverage, The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments are bringing their Nine Daies Wonder programme to BREMF on 7th November, followed by more dance with Le Jardin Secret on 8th November - this time with a French theme. Our ‘home team’ of BREMF groups are also well represented, with BREMF Consort of Voices presenting a Roman programme including Allegri ‘Miserere’ on 25th October, BREMF Community Choir appearing with Spanish ensemble Resonet on 26th October, and the BREMF Players and Singers rounding off the Festival on 9th November with an ‘London’ programme featuring music by Handel and Purcell.
