| Festival Description | The annual Battle of the Bands competition runs on the four consecutive Fridays during the festival period. It will take place at the Grasslot Rugby club in Maryport. The winner will perform on the main stage marquee and open the Maryport Blues Festival. The competition showcases some of the best local talent across a range of ages and music genres and as in previous years we are expecting exciting and competitive evenings. The Battle of the Bands takes place on each Friday during the specified dates. Battle of the Bands competition winners take part in the Maryport Blues Festival in July.
