| Festival Description | Jazz—Big Band, Hot Club, Mainstream, New Orleans, and Dixieland. A parade with marching bands, church service on Saturday, Riverboat trips with band aboard. Classic jazz in large marquees in Fish meadow (Oliver’s, Satchmo’s, Fat’s Place, Tommy’s Bar and Jazz Garden, Django’s) as well as open air events in Jackson Square in town and other smaller venues. 60 bands playing New Orleans and Dixieland to Swing. |
