The Festival runs Competitive Classes for all ages in these areas—Singing, Choirs, Piano, Orchestral Groups, Chamber Groups, various solo instruments (including Harp), Organ, Speech and Drama. Festival Competitions are open to all students of music, speech and drama (whatever age or ability). All that enter have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and qualify for a cash prize, an award or a certificate and take away with them a mark sheet upon which the adjudicator writes some guidance notes on the performance heard. The Festival encourages participants to further their skills and experience and enjoy the stimulus of competition. |
