Festival Description

From 1989 to 2002 the festival was held yearly. The festival includes workshops, seminars, conferences and exhibitions. Since 2002, the Festival has been organized as a biennial event held in various indoor and outdoor locations around the city. A chief goal of the festival is to introduce theatre companies, plays and adaptations of indisputable artistic quality to new audiences, and bring a breath of fresh air to the Turkish theatre scene.
