Festival Description

Organised by the İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts founded in 1973 under the leadership of Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı, the İstanbul Festival has since aimed at including in its programmes the finest examples of artistic creativity in all disciplines of art from both Turkey and abroad. Since 1973 the Festival has hosted world-renowned artists and ensembles, and ballet and modern dancers.
