The Summer Dance Festival “Lądek Ballet Summer” takes place in the beautiful setting of one of the most renowned Polish spas—Lądek Zdrój, situated in the stunningly beautiful Klodzko Valley. The festival is continuously gaining more attention and becoming more and more popular both within Poland as well as abroad as a unique event of great artistic, educational, tourist, and recreational value for young Dance enthusiasts.
Each year, for two weeks in July, music and dance from all over the world dominate in the town of Lądek Zdrój—from classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, and dances inspired by the traditional dances of different nations, to the most contemporary dance techniques popular among young people today. The organizers of the event arrange a number of attractions—performances of professional ballet ensembles from Poland and from abroad; presentations of young choreographers; a dance parade through the streets of Lądek Zdrój; movie performances; encounters with outstanding artists; as well as evening youth festival parties with international music and dance. Festival participants will take part in numerous workshops, meetings, and dance performances offered by the organizers.
