The International Ankara Music Festival became a member of the European Festivals Union, based in Geneva, in 1993 and was run under the auspices of the President for the first time in 1994. The Festival always endeavours to be better than the previous year and to increase the number of music lovers reached. With the interest and support of Ankara’s citizens, it will continue to be one of the capital’s most important artistic acivities.
