| Festival Description | The ACTORES Town Theatre Roznava in co-operation with the town of Roznava are organizing an International Festival of Alternative Theatres. Its fourth edition will take place in the ACTORES Theatre between September 6 and 12, 2009. The festival is accompanied by the “Working Atelier” (workshops) featuring foreign lecturers giving short courses of various acting schools. The festival will lay great emphasis on proficiency in the field of theatre and simultaneously, it will present a wide range of staging genres of various world cultures. TEMPUS ART 2009 is a competitive festival open to all theatre groups of the world. All plays will be critiqued and the following awards will be presented: Best Festival Production, Outstanding Direction, Best Actor, Best Actress, Spectators’ Award. Please note that the application deadline is February 29, 2009!!! |
