| Festival Description | Singapore Music Festival aims to position Singapore as the international and regional platform for Asian contemporary music. It provides a platform to showcase up-and-coming homegrown talents and encourages the creation of new works by Singapore composers especially in contemporary pop music.The first Singapore Music Festival is slataed for 2005 with a 8 to 10-day Festival (over two weekends). The Festival is held biennially. |
