| Festival Description | The Ballanta Music Fesitial’s first festival that is slated for March of 2008 is set to attract music aficionados and musicologists to enjoy lectures and performances by local musicians. The first lecture will be given by Dr. Dyke Kiela the American Professor of Music of Cottey College (USA). Prof. Kiela has spent the last five years studying musical scores and writings from Ballanta in preparation for their publication. The audience, consisting of local and international individuals will take in a diverse program catering to a wide variety of musical tastes. |
