| Festival Description | The INFANT has been created from a great desire to open a wholly new space for the exchange of cultural values with the world, to provide an adequate context to creative energy of young people. The energy that shapes something new—real information on themes, productions and theatre innovations based on certain classical elements or those introducing technological, media, and other forms of innovation. The organizers designed a very interesting programme in 1995 despite difficult times. Apart from the best new innovative performances from Serbia, theatres from Slovenia, Macedonia, and Hungary who also participated in the INFANT—the festival content was enriched by an excellent video section, a special thematic seminar and other discussions, additional programmes, performances, a large introductory para-theatre supplement in the form of a techno-spectacle, etc. |
