| Festival Description | LIK-2 is an annual international theatre festival that takes place in a very picturesque place inside Mikhailovskoe reserve. The festival’s main point is traditional Russian culture. The festival organizers invite: Foreign performers and theatre groups that work with Russian material or investigate the influence of Russian culture on their own nation; International groups working on integration of different cultures (one should be Russian); Russian-speaking theatres worldwide; Foreign Slavonic scholars, especially students; Russian performers and theatre groups that work on the development of typical forms of Russian culture. Classical literature material is welcome. Proposals are accepted each year at the end of June. |
