| Festival Description | Each year the Harrietville Bluegrass & Traditional Country Music Convention features a program of performances and workshops in Bluegrass and Old Time Country Music. The rich and diverse genre of the music is presented in its authentic form—in live acoustic performances by more than 30 bands. There will be workshops held at the Community Hall where you will be given the opportunity to learn old time square dances with a genuine Old time Band from West Virginia. In addition, during the weekend will include singing and instrument workshops for all levels of expertise presented by Bluegrass and Old Time Musicians. An on-site restaurant provides reasonably priced food and beverages. |
