| Festival Description | The Theatre Festival for Youth and Children started in 1969, having as role model the Venice Biennial where YT had participated one year before and, for a while, it was a singular phenomenon in our theatrical movement. The festival stopped in 1985 at its VIIth edition due of the lack of money. In 1992 the Festival restarted under the motto "A world for all, a world for everyone" and gained an international value by inviting five Romanian and eight foreign theatre companies. Thus, YT became a member of the European network of Cultural Centres for Youth and Children. |
