Practical Info:

Venues 2013:
  • Brunswick Town Hall is our main venue for many years the is not available for festival use in 2013. The Moreland City Council have closed the Town Hall for major building works. Our replacement venue will be Estonian House, 43 Melville Rd. West Brunswick located just south of the cross roads with Victoria St. and north of Hunter St. The venue is owned by the Estonian community and was an old picture theatre. It has a large high stage, excellent sight lines for 300 concert seating and the acoustics are brilliant. Estonian House is actually slightly larger than the Brunswick Town Hall, and has a large kitchen and facilities for an expanded concert bar. With the injection of the ‘Brunswick Music Festival vibe’ Estonian House will be an excellent replacement for the Town Hall and home to the historic 25th Brunswick Music Festival.
  • The Spotted Mallard, 314 Sydney Rd comes on stream as a top class dinner & show style venue. The Mallard offers cabaret and dinner seating for up to 200 with standing room for another 80, combined with top class food and drinks, excellent sight lines and top class production. The Spotted Mallard provides that essential venue the festival has been seeking for several years. It is upstairs venue, located on Sydney Rd. directly opposite Phoenix Street.

  • The Brunswick Uniting Church, 212-214 Sydney Rd is located on the corner of Merri St. and Sydney Rd. and will be our venue for the 2013 festival choral concert series.
