| Festival Description | The Tasmania Festival presents artists from more than 20 countries from islands far away and remote including Cuba, Madagascar, Italy, Papua New Guinea, United States of America, to the big island continent of Australia. The program includes some 200 ticketed and free performances including dance, theatre, music, opera, film, literature, exhibitions and installations, inspiring discussions, gastronomic feasts and much more. This festival travels statewide showcasing Tasmania’s diverse landscape and encouraging locals and visitors alike to explore remote regions of the island. |
