| Festival Description | The Dunedin Fringe Festival incorporates all major artforms that features touring artists, street performers, theatre, dance, music, visual and multi-media artists that draws visitors from all over New Zealand. The Festival involves approximately 500 artists presenting over 80 different events, most running a three to five night season. The result is an action-packed Festival program featuring dozens of world premiere events as well as many Dunedin premiers from touring artists. This annual Festival is the largest fringe arts festival in the South Island of New Zealand and has been well-supported by New Zealand’s artistic community. |
