Featuring international and national acts, workshops, theatres shows, top international dancers, music and circus performers, buzzing market stalls, kids programme, street performance and the most beautiful energetic carnival parade this side of Brazil. The festival originally took place in Bay of Plenty and has now moved to Auckland. At Jambalaya you can come and watch, learn, explore and experiment with musical and dance styles from around the world. From salsa to samba, hip hop to bollywood, gypsy to circus arts! The festival aims to bring people together from all over the country, encouraging the sharing of music and dance styles and creating a celebration carnival in New Zealand. You can either get a festival pass to make the most of the whole booty shakin weekend.
