| Festival Description | Auckland embraced its first Festival in 2003 with unparalleled enthusiasm. The city was bedazzled by a constellation of creativity from across the region and around the world in the performing and visual arts. Its success has restored a proud Auckland tradition with the dynamic international program. The festival hosts an exceptional line-up of internationally acclaimed composers, choreographers, directors, dancers and artists who will join New Zealand’s finest artists. The fifth biennial event will take place in 2011. |
