| Festival Description | Established in 1981, Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht takes place in the medieval city of Utrecht, The Netherlands over ten days, featuring a program packed with over 120 events from the early morning until well after midnight. The world’s largest early music festival offers repertoire ranging from the earliest Middle Ages to the Baroque and beyond. There are dozens of free fringe concerts; the Early Music Exhibition; a series of lectures, debates, radio broadcasts and workshops. |
