| Festival Description | This festival promises to showcase the circuit’s hottest talent, billing a pub-scene style Poetry Slam as one of its highlights. Loosely based on the rules of a boxing match, five poets, accompanied by a DJ, will compete for the approval of the audience. There will also be traditional poetry readings, with each poet performing in his or her mother tongue (English translations available in a booklet). The main acts are staged in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg, with a children’s programme (in Dutch) in the RO Theatre, where musicians and actors will keep the kids entertained. |
