| Festival Description | Pow! Mini Performance Art Festival brought together cutting-edge performers and artists from the Bay Area, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. POW! was a grassroots production curated by Alyssa Lee, Guillermo Galindo, and Katt Sammon. POW!’s program of unique, richly diverse performances are uncensored and therefore requires that audience members be at least 21 years of age. The uncensored nature of the performances allow the artists to push the envelope on otherwise confined, structured, and “acceptable” pieces. The entire premise of the Festival is based on the Festival’s open and encouraging atmosphere where artist is encouraged to create and present work without restrictions. |
