| Festival Description | The Vondelpark Summer festival features free theatre, cabaret, concerts, dance and entertainment and is suitable for all ages. It is held in Amsterdam's largest green space, Vondelpark, and its open-air theatre. During the festival season there are a variety of free performances for visitors to enjoy. Wednesdays feature performances especially for children. Bandstand classical concerts are held on Thursday. Theatre or dance performances are hosted on Fridays. Saturdays feature lively events and workshops, followed by plays or music, with more live music on Sundays. |
