Jazz in Duketown is staged in the historic town of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The stages where the artists will be playing are all over the town—in the picturesque Uilenburg, one of the older parts of Den Bosch, and on larger squares like the Markt and the Parade. The festival caters to every music lover as it doesn’t commit itself to a certain kind of jazz. Jazz in Duketown celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2008 with the continued aim of bringing jazz lovers together, and by introducing the genre to a wider audience by presenting up-and-coming artists and famous jazz musicians alike.
