| Festival Description | The International Plucked Instruments Festival is a festival of classical music performed on the lute and guitar, as represented by musicians from around the world, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Morocco, Portugal and Switzerland. 2008 celebrates the 13th annual festival, organized by the Sous l’Egide du Ministère de la Culture with the collaboration of Spanish Embassy, Romanian Embassy, the Délégation Wallonie-Bruxelles, l’Institut Cervantes, l’Institut Français, l’Institut Culturel Roumain, Goethe Institut de Rabat Casablancah Institute, Italian Cultural Institute and Portuguese Cultural Center. The founding directer is Saïd Laghzaoui, with the assistance of Mekki Jirari. |
