| Festival Description | Every year during the last two weeks of June, this popular festival is held near the local governmentoffices. This is the ideal setting for the variety of sports and cultural activities offered from traditionaldances, exhibitions illustrating the continent prior to the Spanish invasion, to cycling and footballtournaments. There is even a competition to see who can give the best speech. The festivities alsoinclude live music from local bands to get everybody swinging, and concludes with a fireworks displayand a procession in honor of San Pedro, the local Patron Saint. |
