Ohrid Summer Festival began in 1961. In the past four decades the Ohrid Summer Festival became a muster and a school, a place for a direct meeting of the world, a place for innovations and play of the imagination, and, above all, a huge artistic and gathering place. Recitals and chamber music, symphonic concerts and acapella programmes dedicated to the classical music literature. Spectacles of Macedonian and foreign theatres complete the event.
