| Festival Description | Since 1980 the Birštonas Jazz Festival has taken place every two years during the last weekend in March at the spa town of Birštonas. The jazz festival the oldest forum representing a diverse program in a range of styles among the genre and style of Lithuanian jazz —from dixieland to the modern experimental jazz. The stage of Birštonas jazzfestival is open not only to mature, famous jazzmen of the country but also to the young budding musicians. |
