Festival Description

Rudolfs Blaumanis (1863-1908) is one of the founders of Latvian drama whose plays are still popular. The productions of Blaumanis’ plays from different theaters of Latvia and abroad are participating in the festival that is held every three years. The best staging is awarded a prize. In the framework of the festival a conference, an exhibition and other activities dedicated to Blaumanis take place.
